20 Taylor Swift Inspired Dance Moves To Use At Your Next Dance Party

Taylor Swift is someone that a lot of people admire for a lot of reasons, but she is the best person to pick on when it comes to dance moves. So if you are looking to have a good time at your next party, break out these moves and see where it gets you.

1. The "party don't start till I walk in."

The perfect move to break out right when you walk into a room. Everyone will be looking at you because you'll be looking absolutely hot and dangerous.

2. The "OK, I made my big entrance, but how do I get the party going?"

Ok, so you safely entered the party, everyone was looking in your direction, but now you realize no one is dancing -- and you have to sort of get everything moving...awkwardly.

3. The "OK shouldn't someone have joined me at this point?"

Alright, the music is bumpin' but no one has joined me out here, and I am getting really uncomfortable.

4. The "Thank you, savior."

You have lost all hope when a young male suitor grabs your hand, just asking for a sneak peek of your cool moves.

5. The "I have had a few drinks, but not enough."

At this point, you have had a couple of drinks, but you're still composed. Still, you're starting to think of yourself as pretty hot s***.

6. The "if I move my hips enough, no one will notice I can't dance."

Coming from someone who can't dance, this move holds a special place in my heart. In all my experience, I learned that if you move your hips enough, people will think you can dance -- even if you can't.

7. The "Hey, everyone, watch me drop it."

Everyone has done this move and it should definitely be used more often. A classic drop gets the people's attention and for good reason.

8. The "pay attention to me because I deserve it."

This is one you break out after a couple of drinks maybe or if your confidence level is already sky high. Especially if you are wearing an outfit like this -- heads will turn.

9. The "High School Cheerleader."

A lot of us had this fantasy but, alas. for many it was not a reality so just let loose and mock those who were so high above you in high school.

10. The "It's just me and my girlfriends."

When you have your friends around you and you guys are acting like the hottest chicks (or dudes) there...Just a little hip motion and lots of whispering and giggling.

11. The "when the squad gives zero f***k"

You're at your favorite frat house or whatever and you guys are basically regulars so you have all stopped trying and started doing weird stuff. Like these little moves.

12. The "Look at her over there."

Someone has seen you talking or eyeing up their crush (or maybe even boyfriend or girlfriend) and has been giving you the stink eye all night. So instinctively, you start teasing her, just like girls do.

13. The "Peep this."

That girl is still staring at you, so you and your girls bout to show her what's up. You flaunt what you got and she might back off.

14. The "I have to get his attention somehow."

Ok, so you have been at the party for a while now, dancing your ass off, and you're starting to get vibes from that cute guy from across the way. Use this to get a little flirty.

15. The "I have had a few too many drinks, and now I'm just acting stupid."

It's that time of night when things start getting weird and you might have a little too much space at the party because people are leaving, but you are not going anywhere.

16. The "Classic."

May it be "Don't Stop Believing" or "Closing Time," the DJ always plays some song that NO ONE would want to hear at the beginning of the party, but somehow becomes ok when it's time to go. So enjoy it while it lasts, I guess.

17. The "my outfit is on fleek."

So, at the end of the party, if no one has complimented you on your stunning look, just show a little leg and break a little move and that'll get everyone to look!

18. The "Whoop, there it is."

A very self-explanatory move. You see your friend from across the party and you make eye contact and start pointing. It's one of those moves that never seems to die with age.

19. The "sexual deviant."

A little flirty, a little mischievous. This move is sure to get everyone's attention when a slower song comes on.

20. The "I may be leaving, but you know I'll be back."

As you depart the party, leave the guests with a last little taste of what you got. A little wave can mean a lot -- especially when you're too tuckered out from dancing too hard to do anything cooler.

And with that, I conclude my short little briefing on what dance moves to break out at your next shindig. Pull all the muscles and make all the friends -- or don't. and see how you end up.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
