20 Struggles That Prove Commuting To School Is The Worst

Going to college is hard enough, but getting there can be even worse when you have to commute.

1. You've pretty much accepted that this your life

2. Morning classes are the worst

3. You attempt to leave early, but there's still traffic

4. You check the time and realize you're going to miss class

5. Traffic predictions say you'll be late, but you're an expert at your route

6. Then every light on your route turns red. Every. Single. One.

7. But that's OK because there's plenty of time to jam to your favorite tunes

8. Trying to figure out your school's parking signs is impossible

9. And getting parking citations is inevitable

10. You can't stand when your friends complain about living on campus

11. And you're pretty much obligated to drive them everywhere

12. But then they complain about your driving

13. When the weather is bad and the school doesn't cancel classes

14. So you drive all the way there, only to find out your professors cancelled last minute

15. And gas prices just keep going up

16. You're fed up with people who act like they don't know how to drive

17. Self control means nothing until someone cuts you off

18. Trying to make curfew can be dangerous

19. And when you finally get home you're just ready to go to bed

20. Only to have to do it all again the next day

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
