Recently my friends and I were talking about living on campus. Living on campus can be a lot of fun, especially if it's your first time away from home, but there's also struggles that come along with living on campus in a resident hall.

1. The love/hate relationship with your roommates

2. Having to wear shoes in the shower

3. Dirty bathrooms

4. Heat/Air not working

5. Trying to have a comfortable room temperature for everyone

6. No Kitchen

7. Not having enough space for all your stuff

8. Different sleep schedules then your roommates

9. Having to go to the hallway to talk on the phone

10. Going from a big bed to a twin xl

11. Doing laundry

12. Hearing people during "sexy time"

13. People being loud in general

14. Printer not working

15. Spotty WiFi

16. Never dark enough to sleep

17. Having to be quiet when you're the only one in your room with an 8am

18. Maintenance doing yard work at 7 in the morning

19. No privacy

20. No furry friends

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
