Growing up in the early to mid-2000s was a great time period, but the music was even better. No matter how old you were back in 2007, you were probably singing along to every single one of these songs. Here is a list of songs that were on the top of the charts back in 2007.

1. Rihanna, "Umbrella"

To this day, whenever it rains there is always that one person that sings "Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh". . . I am that person.

2. T-Pain, "Buy U A Drank"

3. Snow Patrol, "Chasing Cars"

4. Nelly Furtado, "Say It Right"

"In the day, in the night, say it right, say it wrong."

5. Sean Kingston, "Beautiful girls"

"You're way too beautiful girl"

6. The All-American Rejects, "It Ends Tonight"

7. Maroon 5, "Makes Me Wonder"

Ugh, Adam Levine has such an amazing voice, and Maroon 5 is one of the few artists still coming out with new music to this day.

8. Red Hot Chili Peppers, "Snow (Hey Oh)"

9. Hinder, "Lips Of An Angel"

10. OneRepublic, "Apologize"

Am I the only one who still blasts this song on full volume? I sure hope not!

11. Boys Like Girls, "The Great Escape"

12. Gwen Stefani, "The Sweet Escape"

Such a classic Gwen song, one of my favorites!

13. Elliott Yamin, "Wait For You"

BEST LOVE SONG FROM 2007! This man has such a great voice, and this song is still one of my absolute favorite songs.

14. Linkin Park, "What I've Done"

Linkin Park always had great songs, but this song was their most popular in 2007.

15. Avril Lavigne, "Girlfriend"

Where do I even begin with this song?! Easily on of the best songs from 2007. Every middle school girl was obsessed with the song.

16. Lil Mama, "Lip Gloss"

"They say my lip gloss is cool, my lip gloss be popping, I'm standing at my locker and all the boys keep stopping."

17. Soulja Boy, "Crank That"

Everyone was doing this dance back then, and the people that learned how to do it could probably still do it today!

18. MIMS, "This Is Why I'm Hot"

19. Fergie, "Glamorous"

This song had me wishing I was rich. Plus this song also taught all of us how to spell "Glamorous" as G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S.

20. The Fray, "How to Save a Life"

I think we can all agree that all of these songs were great in 2007, but they sound even better 10 years later. Although some of these artists rarely come out with music nowadays, they had all of us singing along back in '07.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
