I can't tell you how many times I have found myself searching Google for "good warm up music." I was taken to YouTube, Pandora and lists on random websites on which none of the songs were good and many outdated. If you're looking for songs to listen before your big game or event, then you are in the right spot!

1. "36 Oz" by Skeme ft. Chris Brown

This song has a great beat that is easy to get into. Listening to this song helps clear my mind and stay focused.

2. "Walk On By" by Logic

Logic is hands down my favorite music artist. Every one of his songs is composed with so much thought and this one specifically has a great rhythm. Just hearing his voice gets me pumped up.

3. "No Church In The Wild" by Kanye West ft. Jay-Z

Just by hearing the beginning of this song you know it's gonna be a good one. By the end of it, you're fired up and ready to go conquer whatever you have to do.

4. "Rec" by Rosewood Bape

This song is a hidden one- meaning nobody really knows about it. I love finding music that isn't totally popular and introducing people to it. This song has a killer beat and is perfect to jam to pre-game.

5. "10 Backyard" by Travis Scott

This song is a little more on the chill side of these warm up songs. Listen to it to clear your mind of distractions and get into a good mood.

6. "Clique" by Kanye West ft. Big Sean and Jay-Z

A classic must-have song on your pre-game playlist. Do I need to explain why this is a song that will get you pumped? No, just listen.

7. "All Night Longer" by Sammy Adams

Another not so popular song, but has been on my volleyball team's warm up playlist every year. This is such a fun song with great lead ups.

8. "Love Myself" by Hailee Seinfeld (Riddler Remix)

I loved this song so much but it was too slow to really get me pumped up, so I searched around for a remix and this was by far the best one. It's definitely fast paced.

9. "Make It Work" by Tyga

Like "10 Backyard" this song is chill but still keeps you in that pumped up mood.

10. "Look Alive" by Rae Sremmurd ft. Migos

Let's just say the beat makes this song amazing. This song really brings energy.

11. "Swimming Pools" by Kendrick Lamar

Another classic. Kendrick's voice is great and the composition of the song makes for a perfect pre-game tune.

12. "Space Jam" by Audio Push ft. Lil Wayne

The good part about this is the fast beat that continues throughout the whole song.

13. "Don't Play" by Travis Scott ft. Big Sean and The 1975

Wait... Travis Scott, Big Sean AND The 1975? I never would of thought that would be a collab but I'm not complaining because this song is brilliant and really gets me pumped.

14. "Roses & Money" by The Chainsmokers vs DJ Snake vs Lil Dicky (3LAU Mashup)

Such a cool mashup, thank you to whoever thought of putting these two songs together and a good rap.

15. "Motley Crue" by THEY

My new favorite song since I found is last week. Pre-game or not, this is a jam.

16. "Hell Of A Night" by Schoolboy Q

I guarantee you'll love this song because of the beat and SchoolBoy Q's voice.

17. "Five More Hours" by Chris Brown ft. Deorro

You'll know why this song made this list once you hear it. Deorro and Chris Brown really compliment each other.

18. "I Wish You Would" by DJ Khaled

Can't go wrong with DJ Khaled! Well, you really can, but this song is great to get your blood flowing.

19. "Still Here" by Drake

Drake definitely nailed it with this song. This is so upbeat and will keep you energized.

20. "Pt. 2" by Kanye West

Kanye, thanks for this. This song has so many different parts and in the end it all sounds perfect.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
