In life, we all go through situations that shape us into the people we are going to be for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately, some of these situations are obstacles that we have to learn to overcome - it's inevitable. Everyone has their own set of coping mechanisms that they use to keep pushing forward. For me, one of these outlets has always been music - to say that it has had the power to heal me in some of the most difficult situations would be an understatement. There's just something about throwing some headphones on in the midst of all the stress and chaos that has always been extremely cathartic to me.
