Music is one of the essentials for college students. It lets us relax or get pumped up, helps us study or gives us a break from schoolwork. While modern music is fantastic, sometimes it's nice to listen to music from previous generations. Here's a list of twenty songs from the sixties, seventies, and eighties that all modern college students can relate to.

Walking to the library like: "I'm on the highway to hell"

4. "Movin' Out" by Billy Joel

9. "Vienna" by Billy Joel

Trying to enjoy the best four years of your life, but also trying to be an adult: "...although it's so romantic on the borderline tonight, tonight/ Too bad but it's the life you lead/ you're so ahead of yourself that you forgot what you need/ though you can see when you're wrong, you know you can't always see when you're right"

10. "Wake Up, Little Susie" by The Everly Brothers

When you fall asleep watching Netflix, but you were supposed to finish your homework: "Wake up little Susie and weep/ The movie's over, it's four 'o clock/ And we're in trouble deep"

When you're 100 percent done with all of your readings: "I am closing the book/ on the pages and the text/ and I don't really care/ of what happens next"

Trying to find a relationship: "You can't hurry love/ no, you just have to wait"

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
