17 Snacks You Miss From Childhood

If you grew up in the early 2000s like I did, you probably have a few snacks that bring back memories of your childhood. These snacks had a way of making you feel like the coolest kid in school when your mom packed them in your lunchbox. Here are some of the best beloved food from your childhood.

1. Dunkaroos.

These were a delicacy to kids from the '90s to early 2000s. Sadly, they were discontinued. A moment of silence, please.

2. Ritz Handi-Snacks.

Again, there's something about dipping snacks that makes them cooler.

3. Gripz.

These were tiny versions of snacks like Cheez-Its and Chips Deluxe, but much cooler than the regular versions because they were mini.

4. Teddy Grahams.

These little bear-shaped graham crackers were almost too cute to eat. Almost.

5. Goldfish.

Goldfish are a really basic, but lovable snack. The colored and pizza flavored ones are extra fun.

6. Cosmic Brownies.

Brownies are great no matter what, but add the chocolate frosting and those awesome neon sprinkles and they were irresistible.

7. Fruit Roll-ups, Fruit by the Foot, and Gushers.

All of these snacks were fruity and chewy, basically every kid’s favorite.

8. Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks.

Fruit snacks in general were the bomb, but they tasted the best when they were in the shape of Scooby-Doo characters.

9. Go-gurt.

The tube was a great way that companies made kids go crazy for yogurt.

10. Trix Yogurt.

I don’t know who thought yogurt should be neon blue or pink, but I never complained.

11. Danimals.

These were delicious and you didn't even care that they left you with a smoothie mustache.

12. Cookie Crisp, Trix, Coco Puffs, and Lucky Charms.

All of these cereals were sought after by so many kids, probably because the TV commercials were always on during our cartoons.

13. Lunchables.

If you took a Lunchables to school, you were automatically the coolest kid at the lunch table for the day.

14. Kid Cuisine.

These were TV dinners for kids that came with a variety of cool side dishes.

15. Sunny D.

This was really sugary orange juice -- what’s not to love?

16. Capri Sun, Hi-C, and Hawaiian Punch

What kid didn't love a good juice pouch?

17. Ice Pops.

These ice pops were the best after a long day of swimming in the summer.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!
