For most of us, eating s’mores around the campfire is something that will happen more than once over the summer. The gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate smashed in between two graham crackers couldn’t get any better right? Wrong. The classic s’more will always be the very best, but these variations might change the way you think about campfires altogether.
1. Make a lemon meringue s'more by swapping out the chocolate for lemon curd.
2. Or you can switch out milk chocolate for white chocolate and add pineapple!
3. For the chocolate lover, use a chocolate marshmallow, chocolate graham crackers and bittersweet or dark chocolate.
4. Blueberry cheesecake s’more: graham crackers, whipped plain cream cheese, blueberry jam, and marshmallow.
5. Switch out the graham cracker for Oreos to make "S'moreos."6. Use a cinnamon graham cracker and dulce de leche for a caramel s'more.7. Use shortbread!
8. Samoa s’more. Made with graham crackers, dark chocolate, toasted coconut, marshmallow and melted caramel.
9. Use Reese's instead of regular chocolate.
10. Or for a sweet and salty version, substitute Pretzel Crisps for graham crackers.
11. Create a grasshopper s'more by using mint chocolate. (side note; using any flavored Ghirardelli square can upgrade your average s'more).
12. PB&J s'mores.
13. Graham cracker + dark chocolate + marshmallow + candied bacon = salty sweet perfection.
14. Roasted berry s'more made with waffle cookies you can find in the groceries and berries roasted in the oven.
15. For savory s'mores, you can use wheat crackers, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and basil leaves.

You really can't go wrong with the classic, graham cracker, milk chocolate and vanilla marshmallow s'more, but it never hurts to try new ones. Enjoy!
