20 Signs That You're Obsessed With Dogs

A lot of people find dogs to be amazing pets and adore them for their loyalty and unconditional love. And some people like to overachieve when it comes to loving dogs and actually become obsessed with them; this article is for those people. Here are a few signs you are obsessed with dogs:

1. You absolutely have to stop to pet the dog on the sidewalk, no matter how late you are to that lunch date.

2. You have a separate album of pictures on your phone of dogs; not even your dogs, but random dogs.

3. You’ve definitely thought you were a dog whisperer before.

4. Your dog is one of your best friends.

5. It’s extremely hard for you to control your excitement when a dog is confused and tilts its head.

6. Dog Instagrams are your favorites.

7. You have really in-depth thoughts about what dogs are actually thinking on a regular basis.

8. True dog lovers love puppies AND older dogs.

11. You’ve cried more than you’d like to admit reading articles or watching videos about dogs saving people or being saved themselves on Facebook.

12. You feel personally victimized by dogs that don’t like you. It can’t be you, it must be them.

13. People know you are a dog person after the first time they meet you.

14. You’ve spent hours on YouTube watching dog videos.

15. You have a really hard time connecting with people who don’t like dogs.

16. Forget making friends at a party if there is a dog there. That dog will be the center of your attention all night.

17. Your favorite Snapchats to get are of dogs.

18. You constantly act like a proud mom and show everyone pictures of your dogs.

19. If someone says they are obsessed with dogs too, you immediately have an unspoken bond that can never be broken.

20. You always wish people loved others the way dogs love everyone.

Now that you’ve seen the signs, the next step is acceptance, and then, obviously, running to find the closest dog to hug. Let the dog haters hate and you keep doing you.

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
