  3. As much as you love Nedlam, you know our mascot makes no sense. Golden tornadoes with a lion mascot?
  4. You have friends from all different races, and you love it.
  5. You’ve gone up to Waitt’s Mount to take pictures.
  6. You’ve been to a Malden-Medford Thanksgiving game.
  7. You know Malden River is poisonous.
  8. You spent countless hours at the Square One Mall when you were 13.
  9. You know at least 10 people who go to UMass Amherst.
  10. You went to the Revere Carnival in middle school...even though you were pretty sure it was going to fall apart any second.
  11. You’ve tried pho and bubble tea (and probably love both).
  12. You’ve had a sports banquet at the Moose.
  13. You know associating with Somerville during soccer season is sin.
  14. You probably went to Henry’s and got your license, even if you shouldn't have.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
