20 Signs The Friends You Met In Your 20s Are For Life
Angelica Caroline

College friendships are something indescribable, perhaps better shown in pictures capturing those unrepeatable and (sometimes) unmemorable moments. During those years, you will realize who you can road trip across country with while eating all 5 bags of chips alone.

Sadly, part of growing up is also letting go; letting go of those who bring you down and hurt you. No one can tell you who is going to make an impact, but this is something you find out for yourself.

For all those who have inspired me, this is for you.

Have those friends...

1. Who will go down bouncy water slides 15 times with you.

2. Who end each phone call with “I love you” because they mean it.

3. Who let you ask their boyfriends for guy advice.

4. Who will unquestionably pick you up when you’re stranded 2 hours away.

5. That feel like home.

6. Who will write you letters because they know how much it means to you.

7. That will be your last minute date to mandatory school functions.

8. Who will jump off a cliff with you, even if it wasn’t meant for jumping.

9. Who will give you back tickles just because.

10. Who will sit at the bottom of the shower with you on a rough Thursday night.

11. Who will attend every sporting event with you, even hockey!

12. Who defend you when you get mistreated.

13. That treasure honesty and laughter.

14. That know all of your good angles and are willingly down for photo shoots in coffee shops.

15. That can make you smile in a 7 am staff meeting on Wednesday mornings.

16. That will go to a spontaneous concert and learn all the songs with you.

17. Who get as excited/inspired by Rupi Kaur's poems as you do.

18. Who allows you to swipe right on their Tinder for them.

19. That will rap Slim Shady and J.Cole with you to pump you up before the gym.

20. Who will go out in NYC 3 nights in a row.

Get those friends that remind you that beauty comes from within and that true strength comes from the heart. To all the friends in my life, thank you for inspiring, challenging and believing in me today and every day.

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
