20 Signs You Go To Mizzou

Many people will give you reasons why they believe their school is much cooler than yours, when we all know that is not possible, if you go to Mizzou.

When somebody wants to have that debate with you, here's a tool to prove them wrong and make them realize the only colors you should want to bleed are black and gold. Here are some major signs that you, most definitely, go to Mizzou.

1. Just hearing someone say the word Jayhawk makes you cringe.

2. Thursday nights are meant to be spent at Bengals with all of your friends.

3. Late night food usually comes from El Rancho or my personal favorite, The Diner.


4. Nutrition 1034 is the best class offered at Mizzou.

5. Seeing old men shirtless playing hackie sack is completely normal.

6.  Someone dressed as a Gorilla playing an accordion is nothing short of normal.

7. Hockey season becomes very competitive between Blackhawks and Blues fans wearing their team's colors on campus.

8. You are never too old for a nice trip to Dobbs.

9.  Whether you are a guy or girl, you want to be at the columns for Bid Day.

10.  Your worst enemy is MizzouWireless.

11.  Have you lived if you haven't had Trops?

12. Being excited about Stripes at Summer Welcome, then never actually using it.

13. Being the first and the best to do Homecoming – 102 years and counting!

14. You have one of the best recreational centers in the country, even if you just use the pool and lazy river.

15.  Working out from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the week is nearly impossible.

16.  Summers in Columbia are highlighted by DJ Merf on the ones and twos.

17.  Football season is the best season there is, right after tailgating season.

18.  Weekends are topped off with dollar burgers and fries at Big 12.

19.  You know that it's called Big 12, not Campus Bar and Grill. 

20.  You know that your school is the best in the SEC in every aspect. MIZ!
