Everyone knows about a man's best friend. Dogs are loyal, sweet and utterly devoted but only a select few can consider themselves extreme dog lovers. The ones that have a very special connection with their canine companion. These are 21 signs you might be an extreme dog lover.

1. You have a special voice when talking to dogs.

It's probably a lot nicer than the way you talk to humans.

2. You get excited when you see a dog in public.

Puppy? Where?

3. Every dog is a puppy. It can be 18 years old, 150+ lbs, and it is still a puppy.

Just look at this big baby.

4. You follow/own an Instagram dog account.

5. You volunteer at an animal shelter.

Because you believe every dog should have a second chance at a good home.

6. You have no issues sharing your bed with a big dog.

Sleepy dogs are cute dogs.

7. If a dog falls asleep in your lap, you won't move a muscle.

Yes, I will be your human pillow.

8. You cry whenever Sarah McLachlan comes on your screen.

Change the channel, I can't bear to watch.

9. You also cry whenever a dog dies in a movie.

No I don't want to watch "Marley and Me!"

10. "Old Yeller" is still emotionally scarring for you.

Easily the worst book I've ever had to read for school.

11. You don't mind dog hair on all your clothes.

Turn any jacket in to a fur jacket, right?

12. You are known for sharing dog videos on Facebook constantly.

Who doesn't want to see 20 puppies playing together?

13. You've seen every episode of Animal Planet's "Too Cute."

Quality television.

14. Speaking of Animal Planet, you definitely prefer the Puppy Bowl to the Super Bowl.

My favorite team is puppy.

15. And the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving is a must watch.

Just look at this fuzz ball go!

16. You get emotional when you think about how many dogs still need a home.

I need to adopt a dog immediately.

17. While some people pick out their future children's names, you've already picked your future dog's names.

Even if your future spouse doesn't like dogs then they're just gonna have to deal with it.

18. You're willing to sacrifice shoes, toys, furniture and clothes in order to get another puppy.

So cute, but so destructive.

19. Your camera roll is filled with pictures of/with your dog.

Of course, you also milk your puppy's cuteness for likes on Instagram.

20. Your dream job is to be surrounded by puppies all day.

I would never have a case of the Monday's.

21. You can't imagine a life without dogs, and you wonder how you got so lucky to have one as your best friend.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
