Though our days as Academy Women are over, there are certain things SAA imprinted on us that will never change. Telling people in college that we went to an all-girls Catholic school might get us some weird looks, but at the end of the day, we were lucky enough to have such a unique high school experience. Here are 20 signs you graduated from St. Agnes Academy!

1. You already had a big and a little before coming to college.

2. Anyone you see with a buzzcut just reminds you of the SJ freshmen.

3. You can clean any mess with your skirt.

4. You've seen Sister Jane get low and it changed your life.

5. The song "Oceans" always makes you feel some type of way.

6. "Veritas Vacation Day" just might be your favorite phrase in the English language.

7. You wonder why food fest doesn't exist in college.

8. You are aware of and respect Janice the ghost.

9. You don't just throw up the peace sign, you put your V's up.

10. You still have PTSD from sophomore chem.

11. You don't get presents for your friends' birthdays, you bake.

12. You get a weird feeling in your stomach when you hear the word "duplex."

13. A part of you felt like you got into Harvard and Brown when girls in your grade got into Harvard and Brown.

14. You're a pro at magically making your skirt look longer or shorter (sorry Eich).

15. You aspire to be a boss lady like Mrs. Whalen when you grow up.

16. You have to reassure people that all-girls school was in fact NOT a prison.

17. You take the "Yes Lord Yes Lord Yes Yes Lord" song (and dance) very seriously.

18. You still are not fully sure how that note in the senior song was supposed to be hit.

19. You stand up for yourself and what you believe in (you don't just sit quietly and cross stitch).

20. While you do not wish to go back to being a sleep deprived high schooler, you are grateful for St. Agnes' role in shaping you into the veritas woman you are today

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
