Going to work is probably the least favorite part of everyone's day, unless you get to do something cool, such as save lives, like a surgeon. If that's the case, you lead an amazing life that most people only dream of. But still, anyone that has a job of some sort has coworkers. Coworkers are the people that help you get through the day without tearing your hair out, or maybe they are the people that cause the hair tearing. Fortunately for me, my coworkers are amazing and are some of my closest friends.

Here are 20 things that best coworker friends can relate to!

1. The unlikely friends.

Had you and your coworker not gotten employed at the same job, you probably wouldn't have become friends. You would have kept living your life without even realizing how awesome your coworker best friend is.

2. You have your own secret work lingo.

No one ever knows what you are talking about when you aren't at work because you are using terms only you and your coworker know from work. So, most of the words would be understood, but it's still fun to pretend!

3. You know the struggle of working for the public.

If you work for the public, such as a grocery store, you know you can't do anything without customers seeing you. So, when you and you coworker are just trying to make the shift enjoyable, the customers see it as rude and irresponsible.

4. You have too much fun while working together.

Whether it's mop fights or just laughing about something the last time you worked together, you are always having fun. Laughing is great medicine, especially at work!

5. You're always checking the schedules.

You must know the days you will be blessed enough to work together. Even if it is only for 30 minutes.

6. You have so many inside jokes!

They are endless. Some may be work related, but most are about other things you have been through together.

7. Judging each other when you make a mistake.

If you make a mistake at work in front of anyone, your best friend will find out. It is inevitable. And once they find out, they will never let you live it down.

8. The fear of being separated

It is the worst feeling ever, knowing your best friend is just a little distance from you but not being able to work together. Who will laugh at your jokes, even If they are not funny? Who will listen to your boy troubles?

9. You go on lunch dates at work.

Best time of the day with the best friend at work! It's a time when you can finally catch upon the topics that couldn't be discussed anywhere else but the break room!

10. Other employees resent working with you.

They know that you two will just end up laughing the whole time. And they probably won't know why!

11. You split food that you find.

Going "halfsies" is a must. You don't want to have to pay full price or make the other feel left out.

12. The only time you are okay with not working together is when one of you is doing something nasty.

Which is rare! It is when one of you has been assigned an unwanted task. For example, cleaning the restrooms... You are on your own!

13. The nicknames/jokes you have about all your other coworkers

Okay, so this is not just between the two of you, but every employee. You may have extended the jokes further than others know!

14. You automatically know how their day is going.

You can tell just by how they greet you when you arrive at work. If they are happy, it is a chipper "hello," but if it is a bad day, they barely acknowledge your existence. And you know that it is a bad day for the entire workplace when their look could kill!

15. Their day off is the worst day for you.

Who will socialize with you? Lunch will be lonely. Guess you will have to pay full price for your snacks/food. You will never be the same.

Until they come to work tomorrow.

16. You despise the same people.

You can always agree on who to avoid, who not to talk to, and who to try to get along with.

17. You automatically know what the other is thinking.

It just comes with the job and friendship. Most likely you were thinking the same thing! That what true friends are for!

18. Everyone knows not to gossip about you two.

Ever. Or they will have to deal with the wrath of you two.

19. Giving each other great work advice

When there is a question about work that is so obvious it is embarrassing to ask, you know your girl has your back!

20. The fear of the future.

Future means moving forward. It means new jobs and life changes. You may never work together again. But, you know you have a true friend forever in your coworker best friend!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
