19 Signs You Went To Catholic High School

Going to a catholic school was a completely different experience than any other. Because of that, all people who went to a Catholic high school know these things to be true.

1. You probably got a uniform violation.

2. If not, you most likely got a warning at the least.

3. You had no idea how to dress yourself after leaving high school.

4. You knew everyone in your grade.

5. And all the other three grades.

6. You knew everything about everyone because gossip spread quicker than the length of a class period.

7. You were buds with at least one of your teachers (if not all of them), because even they knew the school drama.

8. Your school’s lunch actually didn’t suck.

9. All your friends live in different towns.

10. After graduating, every boy you went to school with grew a beard as fast as possible.

11. You always forgot about Fridays in the cafeteria during Lent.

12. You had a love-hate relationship with in-school Mass.

13. You’ve gotten the look whenever you had to go somewhere in your uniform after school.

14. You lived in constant fear of forgetting there was a dress-down day and showing up in your uniform.

15. You had that one adorable nun who everyone loved.

16. And then you had that one nun who made you shake in your loafers.

17. You forget that other people don’t start their school day with a prayer.

18. School spirit was everything.

19. Despite your complaints, you miss it more than anything in the world.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
