20 Reasons Why I Love My Best Friend

I've known her for over 8 years and the moment we met I knew that it was going to a be a long, good and funny friendship. We've been through thick and thin and we seen each other at our worst. That is what a true friendship is about. As Meredith Grey and Christina Yang would say she's my person. She's my person and always will be my person.

1. We Laugh Constantly When We Are Together

When we are together, we pretty much laugh at the stupidest thing that probably aren't funny to anyone else but us.

2. We Never Run Out Of Things To Talk About
We could talk for hours on end and still have things to talk about. I'm not exactly sure how or why but not a second goes by that we don't talk. Well, maybe during a movie or a show but that's about it.

3. I Trust You With All My Secrets and You Trust Me With Your Secrets
Considering, we have known each other for a while now, I'm pretty sure she know all my secrets and I'm pretty sure I know all of hers too.

4. You Let Me Vent But You'll Tell Me When I'm Over Obsessing
I could be venting over pretty much anything that's happening in my life (mostly boys) and she'd tell me I need to stop because well just because.

5. We're Not Afraid To Be Honest With Each Other
Even if it will hurt, we're always honest with each other.

6. We Can Make Fun Of Each Other And Never Take Offense
We can make fun of each other. Over clothes, our hair, our makeup, whatever it is we never take offense.

7. Even Though Your In A Relationship, I See You All The Time
Even though she has a boyfriend, I'm pretty much with her during every weekend of the summer.

8. Jealously Isn't A Thing In Our Friendship
Is this even a thing in our friendship? I've never been jealous about anything she does and I know it's the same with her.

9. Sitting In Silence Is Never Awkward
We have the type of friendship, that when there's an awkward silence it's not awkward at all. It is sometimes good to have silence here and there.

10. We Don't Judge Each Other
We never judge each other. She doesn't judge me if I haven't shaved my legs. We just laugh about it and say it's okay no one will know. We're at the point in our friendship were farting isn't an issue and it never really was but whatever we do there's no judging involved.

11. We Can Talk About Anything
When I say anything, I mean anything. Doesn't matter if it's good, bad, gross, or disgusting. We will still talk about it.

12. We Could Hang Out For Days, and Never Get Sick Of Each Other
Well, we don't ever get sick of each other but when were together I'm pretty sure my mom and her parents get sick of us. :)

13. We Rarely Fight
I think in our eight years of friendship we had one fight and it's like it never happened because after we got everything out that we needed to say we were best friends again.

14. We Know How To Calm Each Other Down When Something Happen
We know how to calm each other down when we are frustrated, happy or sad. When she is there and talking to me it somehow calms me down. Whatever we're going through we can always calm each other down.

15. We Push Each Other, When It's Needed
We push each other to be the best person that we can be. We push each other when it comes to confidence and talking to a boy. Or just when we're feeling down, we push each other to think positively even when it's hard but in the end it's better for both of us and we know that.

16. Somehow Our Old Inside Jokes Are Still Funny
We have a lot of inside jokes but the one that still stands out to this day would be when someone said "Woody". I couldn't tell you how that came up exactly but when I thinking about it I always laugh. We have a lot of good memories that I will never forget.

17. When We're Together, Nothing Will Stop Us
I am not kidding when I say this. We will do anything even if it's embarrassing. It doesn't matter because we could care less about what others think of us when we're together.

18. When We See Each Other For The First Time In Awhile, It's Like We Were Never Apart
We could go a week without talking but then pick up where we left off.

19. No One Can Replace Her
No one can replace this girl. It just won't happen. There's no way. She will always be my best friend and my day one. Even though, we go to different colleges right now and making new friends, she's still at the top of my list.

20. I Can't Imagine Life Without Her
To be completely honest I have no clue what I would without her. She's the complete friend package. She is always there for me and like wise. A friendship works both ways and I lucked out when I met this girl because our friendship is like no other. I know for sure that she's going to be around forever. In the future there is not a doubt in my mind that she will be my maid of honor, my child's godmother and much more.

I can't even express how much she means to me and even though she already knows that I want her to hear it over and over again. Thanks for everything best friend!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
