20 Reasons why autumn is the Best Season of the Year

  • The weather becomes crisp and cool
  • Don’t you smile on the inside when it’s time to pick pumpkins for carving or baking?
  • Comfy clothes come back in style for the season! Earth tones, cashmere and soft scarves make my heart do a dance on the inside!
  • Thick socks and boots that go on for days ...
  • To hoodies and leather jackets!
  • There’s just something about reading a great book while sitting by the window or outside on a crisp fall afternoon.
  • Fall equals Football, which happens to bring around the best time of the year (I have grown to love it).
  • It becomes socially acceptable to have hot chocolate or coffee at all times of the day for no reason other than it is cool outside.
  • Everything pumpkin, cinnamon or pecan flavored comes back in full force.
  • "Hocus Pocus," "Halloweentown," and many other classics come back on TV for the season!
  • How can we not talk about the greatest holiday of the year is during fall? Halloween is the one time of the year that you can be as weird, strange and abnormal as you want to with no one looking at you as though you have grown three heads (even if you have on Halloween).
  • Campfires, smores, hotdogs and hanging out by the fire are back during the fall. Who doesn’t love a good smore?
  • Haunted houses and Halloween shops pop up all over the place during autumn and you can finally see them again.
  • County fairs. No other words are needed to describe the best thing on Earth.
  • Sweaters, sweaters are everywhere! I love sweaters and everyone looks amazing in them!
  • Apple cider - because who wouldn’t want to drink their fruits?
  • Homemade soup becomes acceptable for dinner every night, especially when it’s chilly outside.
  • The sun is bright and gorgeous, but not too bright, like during the summertime.
  • The leaves become an arrangement of colors; reds, oranges, yellows and greens.
  • Thanksgiving comes around, food with pie and family all around the table enjoying their time together.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
