20 Reasons To Never Give Up, Even When You Want To
Cassandra Romkey

There are days when you want to give up, when you want to crawl into your bed and just sleep because dreams are better than your life, or so you think. When these things happen and you wonder why you're sleep walking through your day, there are a few things to keep in mind:

1. You have come so far.

I know the journey has not been easy, but you have made it so far, why throw it all away so fast?

2. People love you.

There are so many people out there that look at you and see so much, so many people that love you, and just want to see you happy.

3. You are smart.

You are brilliant, you have common sense, you're smarter than most think, you're even smarter than you think.

4. There is no one else out there like you, and you cannot be replaced.

There is no one else like you out there; you are one of a kind, you could search high and low and there would still be no one like you.

5. Your life could change, if you want it to.

If you aren't happy with the way things are then change them, it's not about what's happening in your life, it's about how you handle it.

6. Nothing feels better than success.

Some days you may feel like everything you do is a failure, but those days that you succeed are among the best in world, and there is no better feeling than that.

7. You have been made stronger through this journey.

The journey may have been tough so far but it has made you stronger than most others.

8. You have learned so much.

You've learned so much through all your struggles, school teaches you how to add and subtract but real life has shown you how to act, feel, and handle difficult situations.

9. It could be worse.

It could be worse. It could always be worse, just look at it that way.

10. You inspire other people.

You don't know it but other people look at you everyday and you inspire them to move mountains.

11. Failure is inevitable.

The only failure in life is never trying.

12. Things can only get better.

You can only go up from the bottom of the ocean.

13. Prove other people wrong.

The only thing better than being successful is being successful even when people think you won't be.

14. Anything is possible.

People say it all the time, but it is true. You can do anything you put your mind to.

15. Because you can change the world.

Even if you change the life of just one person you are changing the world and I hope you know that.

16. You deserve to be happy and alive.

You deserve to be happy, you deserve to live and see the world in the most positive of lights.

17. If you give up you’re telling yourself that you never thought you could do it in the first place.

You should give yourself a chance, if you put faith in everyone else why can't you put some in your self?

18. You never know what will happen.

Life is a game of twist and turns, some days you're up some days your down, you don't know what tomorrow brings.

19. Anything amazing and worthwhile is hard.

You have to work in order to end up where you want to be but you're already on your way.

20. You are important.

Do not forget that.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
