I have always been "with" someone or in a relationship. Not that I needed to be, it just kind of happened. After a few bad relationships I found myself in a place where I had no desire to be in a relationship. Crazy? Maybe, but to be frank, these past months without someone have been the most eye opening months I think I have lived. Through these months, I have had moments that I did miss having a person, but yet, I still have not chosen to pursue anything. Why? Because, I have found 20 things that made being single seem oh-so-sweet.

1. I can take up the whole bed.

2. I can eat all my food without sharing.

3. I am free to roam where I please.

4. It's cheaper, duh.

5. No cheating!

6. No need to stress about an anniversary.

7. I can go out with my friends without feeling guilty.

8. Girls night is a regular thing.

9. No meeting parents.

10. Can roll out of bed, sweat pants and all, cause damn who am I impressing?

11. No drama or intense arguments.

12. Don't need to compromise my priorities.

13. Full privacy when/ if needed.

14. I get control of the remote.

15. Have time to invest in my career/ education.

16. I have become more active.

17. More aware of what I want in future relationships.

18. Time to explore ones inner self.

19. Freedom to date freely.

20. Less time on the cellular.
