If you're like me, you're into guys that envision a future for themselves, guys that don't just 'live in the now' and not think about their plans for month and years from now. So, going along with this, I'm totally into the 'dad' type. If you know you're into this type or if you want to see what it is, check out these 20 reasons why you should date a 'dad' type!

  1. Let's be real, guys that are good with kids are SO ATTRACTIVE.

2. He probably has a dad bod and that's hot.

3. He has goals and aspirations.


4. He thinks about the future.

5. He's dorky and it's really cute.

6. He wears a lot of khakis (what's not to like about khakis?).

7. He treats you like a QUEEN.


8. He's really thoughtful and will do random things for you like give you a massage or bring you flowers.

9 .He's financially responsible.


10. He doesn't go too crazy at parties because he knows he has to wake up for work in the morning.


11. Odds are that he loves dogs (winner right there).

12. His date plans are THE BEST (and probably really cost effective).

13. He's up for anything (as long as you're being responsible and smart about your decisions).

14. He puts your needs in front of his.

15. He gets really excited about the little things and it's adorable.

16. His face lights up when he sees others happy, especially little kids.

17. He's always willing to bring out the goofy little kid in him.

18. He's got maaaad jokes.


19. He doesn't get embarrassed easily, if ever.


20. He’s going to be great to grow old with.

So, ask you can see, the 'dad' type is obviously the best choice when it comes to men

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying.
