When another guy disappoints us, we can just add him to the list of rejects that we've encountered. We think we aren't good enough or we did something wrong. We spend too much time beating ourselves up over these silly guys. Little do they know we've found a replacement. Within minutes we are calling for it to come to our doorstep. Something better than them with more to give us than they ever could. We've found a cure to all of the madness and that is to simply choose pizza.

1. Create Your Own

It's basically creating your own personalized boyfriend. You can make it however you want and know that it will be perfect.

2. It will always smell delicious

3. Parents approval is a given

4. Only One Call Away

You probably have the number on speed dial.. don't deny it

5. And it will always show up at your door even if it's 2 am

6. You can choose your preference thick, thin, or deep dish.. crust

7. It doesn't mind if you’re looking rough that day or your hair is greasy, because it's greasy too


8. You can have it any way you want - folded in half, cut into pieces, or crust first

9. You don't mind having it around when you're on your period

10. You don’t mind if it’s cheesy, extra cheese is actually better


11. Size doesn’t matter, you actually choose

12. It never talks back.. you’re always right

13. It doesn’t get jealous. It understands if you’re feeling something else that day

14. Never let you down. I've never had a pizza that flaked


15. It’s good any time of the day

16. No such things as sloppy seconds, pizza tastes just as good the day after

17. Always down to Netflix and chill

18. You and your friends don't have to worry about liking the same food and it be a problem

19. It's always HOT and fresh

20. It makes you happy

Pizza has and always will be there for us. No matter how many bad apples it takes to find our prince charming just know that we have a right hand to get us through the tough times. Next time you find yourself feeling down remember pizza is the perfect guy you’ve been searching for and it's been right under your nose this whole time.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
