Yikes... so the Miami vs. FSU game is coming up and you're not really sure what's the big deal about the rivalry? Let me give you a few reasons why Miami is 320% better than Florida State.

1. Miami is the #1 school in Florida right now.

2. Tallahassee? Talla-nasty.

3. You actually have to try to get into Miami. At FSU are you just accepted or what?

4. It may be cheaper to go to FSU, but lol... at what cost?

5. Miami has smaller class sizes which means more focus on the students.

6. Miami has hotter weather, FSU can get as cold as 50 degrees during winter. Where are we... the north?

7. Miami has a higher percentage of students who earn a greater salary post-graduation.

8. If you go to Miami, you're only 20 minutes away from South Beach. FSU is 20 minutes away from your local hick bar.

9. Miami is a private institution.

10. Miami may have hotter weather, but we also have hotter people.

11. You probably go to FSU because you got rejected from Miami.

12. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson went to Miami while Nancy Kulp from Beverly Hillbillies went to FSU. Lol fitting.

13. What even is a seminole?

14. Miami may not have sorority houses but it's better than living with trashy FSU girls all year round.

15. Miami has ULTRA... Nufff said

16. Miami students go to LIV. FSU students go to Encore.

17. Tallahassee doesn't have any beaches near them... Is that why FSU students are so pale?

18. The best place to eat in Tallahassee is Publix

19. FSU is Florida resident's safety school... Rejected everywhere else, huh?

20. Just like our winning streak in football right now, were gunna beat you on the 8th! Fuck you Seminoles!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
