How many quizzes have you taken asking, "Which "Friends" Character Are You?" How many articles have you read along the lines of, "How you know you're the Phoebe of your friend group?" The fact of the matter is "Friends" is one of the most celebrated television shows of all time, and rightly so. I'm probably the last to jump on the bandwagon, but this lighthearted show has served me well. I can't help but make one obvious observation that no one is talking about. Here are 20 reasons why Joey Tribbiani is the best of the friend group.
1. His ability to eat everything is everyone's goal.
2. He is the best duck father to ever exist.
3. Who doesn't want an actor for a best friend? The gang gets into opening nights, after parties and more because of Joey's "career."
4. Because...THIS.
You read that quote in his voice, didn't you? Heck yeah, ya did!
5. He's an expert cuddle buddy.
6. Remember the time he kissed Phoebe just because she wanted someone who cared about her to kiss her?
I don't care what anyone says, they were the greatest ship of all time.
7. What about when he proposed to her because he thought she was pregnant and wanted to help her raise the baby?
"It's a scary world out there for a single mom. I've always thought that you and I had a special bond, so...Phoebe Buffay, will you marry me?"
8. And then proposed to Rachel when he found out she was pregnant, instead?
Too bad Phoebe wouldn't give the ring back. What ever happened to that thing, anyway?
9. Then he treated her to a date just to make her feel special. He even brought flowers, and brownies. Refer to point number one if you forgot the fate of the brownies.
Don't we all just need a bro to share all our "moves" with? We can learn from Joey!
10. He always knows just what to say, whether for a good laugh or the resolution to crisis.
Don't get me wrong, Chandler's pretty funny, but Joey doesn't spend half his time making you embarrassed for him.
11. Not to mention, he can keep a secret when it's needed.

12. He offers a fresh perspective on just about everything.
13. By the end of season one, he seems like the worst person. However, somewhere along the way, you realize he is the most loyal of all the friends.
14. He and Chandler are bro-goals.
15. He's a pretty good uncle, if you ask me.
16. He rocks that fake neurosurgeon body with all the confidence of McSteamy.
We like it too, Joseph.
17. He has his priorities straight.
18. You know you just want to hear him say these words to you.
19. The actor himself inspires you to be a better person.
