What do you do when you turn 20? You create a bucket list filled with 20 things you want to do during your first 365 days out of your teenage years! Or at least that's what I decided to do.

1. Go to Disney World.

I have a free ticket so, why not?

2. See a drive in movie!

It's an experience right?

3. Run a 5k.

I'm going to regret this one.

4. Take a plane ride.

I've never been on a plane, so I guess it's another experience right?

5. See an Atlanta Braves baseball game.

Because, baseball!

6. Go to the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City!

Everyone has a childhood dream right? Well this is mine!

7. Go to a Symphony.

I've been to a few but seeing another one wouldn't hurt.

8. Be in two time zones at the same time.

I've been in two places at once but two time zones at once seems like the next step!

9. Pick a NY Times bestseller and finish it!

My reading list is already a mile long so what's the harm in adding in another book to the list.

10. Write a thank you letter to my favorite teacher.

Saying thank you can't hurt anyone.

11. Finally watch the Titanic.

To be perfectly honest the only reason I'm watching this is because, of Leo.

12. Eat at a food truck for the first time.

.Food served out of a truck? What's not to love.

13. Grow taller (or at least try).

A for effort right?

14. Have a photo published.

15. Create a scrapbook for this year.

Crafting is fun and I take lots of pictures so why not?

16. Enter a contest and win.

I never win anything but maybe 20 is the magic number.

17. Finish a craft project.

What can I say, I really love crafting!

18. Go to a concert!

I also really love music too.

19. Leave money in children's library books.

Everyone should be as excited about reading as Matilda is!

20. Buy my first (and only) lottery ticket.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
