Every college girl knows the struggle of either waking up for classes the morning after a long night out, cramming for an exam or simply being a girl. Being a girl (in college, no doubt) is hard. But fortunately, we have the cast of "New Girl" to relate to and share a laugh with at their expense. Here are 20 times "New Girl" has related to us girls somehow.

1. When you wake up and realize that you slept through all of your alarms.

2. You rush across campus in your Nikes, realize it's raining, and you forgot an umbrella.

3. When the teacher calls on you in class randomly.

4. When Parking Services gives you a ticket for parking in a no-parking zone.

5. When the teacher praises your essay assignment and sets you as an example.

6. When you ignore your responsibilities and watch Netflix instead.

7. When you're at a party and see a cute guy.

8. You and your roommate at a party.

9. When you go out instead of studying for your exam the next day.

10. You forgot to do the homework assigned at midnight, and it's 11:55 p.m.

11. When you have had a long week and you just want to go out with friends and forget everything that happened.

12. When it's college tour season and you see high schoolers everywhere.

13. The moment when you are barely holding it together.

14. When you try to run away from the boy you met at a frat party last weekend but then run into him again in the dining hall.

And my friends continue to shout, "Hey, there's ___!"

15. When that one kid in the class reminds the teacher about the homework when obviously no one in the class did it.

16. When you get your little or big a present for being the most amazing little (or big).

You just love your big so much you want to buy them the whole world.

17. When you're on your period and everything hurts and you're just like:

18. When you've had four tests all week and finally get to go out:

19. When you see your crush on campus:

20. When your squad orders Campus Cookies and 3 a.m. drunk pizza with you and laugh about your night.

I truly have the best friends anyone could ask for. And go to the best school in the world.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
