20 Fun Things To Put On Your Summer Bucket List

Summer is full of opportunities to do fun, exciting activities and go on all sorts of adventures. It can sometimes come with the added pressure to have amazing stories when you return to school about what you did for three months. Here is a list that can start you off if you feel overwhelmed with possibilities or you just don't know what to to first.

1. Build a bonfire on the beach.

2. Watch as many sunsets from as many different locations as possible.

3. Pick up a new hobby to do every Sunday afternoon.

4. Take a road trip to somewhere you’ve never been.

5. Get up early enough to tackle a sunrise hike.

6. Memorize a couple stellar constellations and spend several clear nights trying to find them.

7. If you live in mountains, take a weekend trip to swim in the closest ocean or lake.

8. If you live next to the ocean, take a weekend trip to hike the nearest mountain.

9. Run a mile farther than your longest run.

10. Learn a useful life skill, like changing a tire or budgeting money.

11. Try a new flavor of ice cream instead of getting your usual order.

12. Make your own ice cream.

13. Cut your hair so it’s shorter or lighter for the hot weather.

14. Set aside an afternoon to explore new areas on your bike and get lost.

15. Do the most touristy thing in your town or city.

16. If you live in too small of a town, get to the closest city and find the most touristy activity.

17. Save enough money to take all your friends out for burgers and milkshakes.

18. Make the perfect s’more.

19. See an outdoor concert.

20. Run through a fountain or sprinklers on a particularly hot day.

Get out there and enjoy your summer. Take advantage of the nice weather, add to this list, and make it the best three months you've ever had.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated.
