Food. We all need it, and we cannot live with out it. But, for some of us, food isn't just something we eat to survive. It's a passion. Some of my favorite parts of the day are spent either cooking a delicious meal, or eating one. Not to mention, if I do not eat, I get hangry -- and it's not pretty.
If you're struggling to get through the work day, anxiously waiting for your lunch break with a growling tummy...you may want to look away (this could be torture). Otherwise, indulge with me and show some appreciation for some of the most mouth-watering GIF's of all time.
Warning: Hunger and the inability to look away mayoccur -- proceed with caution.
1. What do we want? Pancakes! When do we want them? Now!
You can taste these golden fluffy pancakes already, can't you?
2. I had a souffle joke, but it fell flat.
Hahaha! I crack myself up, but seriously - look at that! Gorgeous.
3. I can smell Thanksgiving dinner already.
The stuff from a can just doesn't cut it. This is the only way I will eat cranberries. (Unless a vodka and cranberry counts?)
4. Not really sure if I am mesmerized by the corn or by the butter... but does it really matter though?
I think the only person who could possibly enjoy this GIF more than I do is (pre-diabetes) Paula Deen herself.
5. Fried chicken is (and always will be) the ultimate comfort food.
I know it's unhealthy, but these are the only breasts, legs, and thighs I am worried about right now.
6. Chocolate is God's way of making up for Mondays.
I think it's a fair trade, don't you? These chocolate truffles are the definition of "mouth watering."
7. I don't even know what this is for sure, but I know that I want it.
Is it a mousse? With a macaroon on top? Covered in chocolate? If so, I'll take 200 please.
8. Steak, pico and guac -- oh my!
I don't think I'd be considered a true Texan if I didn't include at least one GIF of our favorite food from below the border...tacos! Those tortillas look perfect.
9. This mesmerizing and beautifully frosted cake.
Wheat, eggs, flour, and milk? That's nutritious, right?
10. Ramen...real ramen.
Not the kind you buy at H-E-B for 5/$1. The good stuff.
11. A Chocolate Roll Cake... oh em gee.
Do I really need to say anything? That thing is powdered to perfection.
12. "Ravioli, ravioli, give me the formioli!"
Too old for Spongebob jokes? Never. Too old to enjoy delicious ravioli? Never.
13. It's pizza o'clock.
A wise man once said, "Any pizza is a personal pizza if you try hard enough."
14. If you don't like potato wedges and ketchup... Are you like, even American?
Haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate, taters gonna tate, and wedges will... wedgate? Whatever. You get my point.
15. Santa's favorite treat just got sweeter.
Look at the milk drop off of that cookie though... *drooling*
16. Ermahgerd, bercon!
Caution: Do not cook while naked -- you have been warned.
17. Holy guacamole!
This isn't just your ordinary batch of guacamole either. It's Chipotle's guacamole. You're welcome.
18. Last name, Hungry. First name, Always.
Is there ever a bad time for a freshly grilled burger, topped with fresh ingredients? (Clue: The answer is no. The answer to this question is always no.)
19. The creamy perfection of Fettuccini Alfredo.
What do you call a fake noodle? An impasta. OK, OK, I'll stop with corny jokes.
20. I can smell Sunday morning breakfast already.
There just isn't anything that can compete with this doughy and cinnamon-y treat. Did I mention that it's also covered in warm melted icing? Nothing is more mouth watering than that.
So there you have it -- the best of mouth watering food GIF's.
The lesson here? Life is too short to eat anything that is less than delicious. Go out and enjoy one of these tasty desserts or meals today. (You know you want to!) It's important to be healthy, but everything is good in moderation. It's OK to enjoy mouth watering foods, such as these, every once in awhile. Your taste buds and soul will thank you for it.
