I live in a world of books-- of magical characters and fantasy worlds. I have gone to Hogwarts, Panam, and to the Ichidian Universe. Here are some facts about bookworms!

1. We always carry a book with us no matter where we are, even if we are at work or family outings so we can go hide.

2. Us bookworms always go on adventures no matter if we are sitting right across from you on the couch, we have transported ourselves to an entirely different place.

3. We more than likely have read the book even before the movie has come out, so please don't ask us to compare them for you-- we will be sitting there for awhile going over it because more than likely we liked the books better than movies.

4. Please, for the sake of the conversation, don't ever ask us to recommend a book, we could go on forever. If they are anything like me they will have numerous books to give you to read from a very wide variety of genres.

5. We probably spent more on books than you spend on everything else, so please don't ask what our personal library costs, you would be amazed at how much we spend.

6. We really don't do anything but read, when you ask what we do in our free time it's more than likely we are reading.

7. In school, we were the kids that loved reading

and always did in our spare time.

8.We have one fear.

9. We have many different favorite authors so don't ask us to just pick one, it will be a hard and difficult time and we may ask you yours and if you don't read, it will be bad.

10.Some of us would rather have books over jewelry-- it's more fun!

11. We have an anatomy all of our own.

12. We have one feeling when it comes to bookstores.

14. There is no such thing as too many books, we can have bookcases overfilling with books and will still buy more to have. We can't get enough of them.

15. This is my favorite one and one I hear all the time. People always so shocked when this happen and it so funny to see there faces when it does happen.

16. This is a very real problem, I don't know about my fellow bookworms but every time I am in a house and I see a bookshelf I automatically go over and look at the books to see what they are reading and it its anything good.

17. I love going into bookstores and if I could live in one it would be awesome!

18. This a real emotional phase bookworms go through when it comes to reading books.

19. We are truly never alone, we always have a book and we learn to love characters and become friends with them. We actually cry over fictional deaths, have fictional boyfriends, and can get attached to fictional characters its a very real struggle sometimes.

20. Sometimes we turn twenty minutes of reading into an all niter and than regret it the next morning. This happens quiet frequently sometimes but it oh so worth it.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
