20 Disney Channel Childhood Shows

Most likely growing up, we all at some point watched the Disney Channel. Over our childhood years, there was at least one or two that we could proudly admit that we loved to watch. As we are all older and comparing shows we loved as a kid to the ones premiering nowadays, we find ourselves taking trips down memory lane. Remembering our favorite shows and which episodes we thought were the best or the funniest, we experience a blast from the past.

1. "That’s so Raven"

Oh, snap! It's the future Raven can see.

    2. "Phil of the Future"

Did you know that Curtis the caveman and Mr. Hackett were both played by J.P. Manoux?

      3. "Lizzie McGuire"

        4. "Lilo and Stitch"

          5. "Kim Possible"

Call her or beep her, you'd reach her even if there was danger or trouble.

            6. "The Replacements"

Their mom is a British superspy. Their Dad is movie stuntman. Oh, and they had a talking car.

              7. "Dave the Barbarian"

              8. "Suite Life of Zack and Cody"

                9. "Life with Derek"

As Casey knew it, life changed. New home, new school, new friends. And of course, the big one: new siblings. Half annoying and half loving, with a bunch of things in between.

                10. "Brandy and Whiskers"

Once there was a dog and a rabbit, and together they had to make the best of their situation as they were stranded...in the Amazon.

                11. "Corey in the House"

                12. "Even Stevens"

                  13. "The Buzz On Maggie"

Everybody has to have a dream and Maggie's just happens to be becoming a rock star. And in rock star fashion, Maggie travels a bumpy road that sometimes created more consequences than wanted.

                    14. "Minuscule"

Disney got educational with this animated series teaching us about bugs and insects.

                    15. "Naturally Sadie"

                    16. "The Proud Family"

                    17. "The Emperor’s New School"

Kuzco is back and ready to rule...that is if he can pass Kuzco Academy. Not only does he have to graduate, he also has to keep watch of Yzma and her schemes to get rid of him with the aid of classmate, Kronk.

                    18. "American Dragon: Jake Long"

The big question on everyone's minds was, of course, do Rose and Jack get together despite the fact he is a dragon and she is a Huntsman. A Huntsman goal: slay all magical creatures. Oh, it's like Romeo and Juliet.

                    19. "As the Bell Rings"

                    20. "Fish Hooks"

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement. Before that day, I never really thought about being a friend to myself, and at the time, I didn't really know what it meant. Now, I realize that you can't fully be there for other people unless you're there for yourself, too. You can't show up for others until you're willing to show up for yourself.

Here are five things everyone should learn in order to be a better friend to themselves. These steps are hard, but they're so worth it.

We all have a love hate relationship with winter, lets be real here. Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.
