The $18 actually buys you a t-shirt in this lovely '50s-style diner. And every Wednesday night, cars from eras in the 20th century park at Johnny's for a show (consider it a two-part date).

If you budget your money wisely, this burger joint will enliven your taste buds to lands where no man has ventured before.
4. Yours Truly (prices not listed on online menu, but no meal is over $20)
The homelike atmosphere invites you to this gem from the '80s. A family-favorite since childhood, I recommend their artichoke hearts and breakfast options.

Wonderful restaurant with a diverse menu to accommodate all ages and tastes.
Snacks/Treats
6. Crazy But True Popcorn $2.00-$18.00
Granted, you can spend over $20 at this eclectic popcorn shop if you want the very large sizes. However, if you keep your wallet in check, you can enjoy sweet blueberry, addictive white cheddar, or one of dozens of flavors they have to offer.
7. Main Street Cupcakes
Arrive to this cupcake shop early! They run out of pastries by noon.
8. Malted Meeple
This peculiar location has the largest collection of board games in Hudson. The menu features delicious milkshakes and a variety of alcoholic drinks. However, if you want to stay to beat your date in Sorry, be prepared to pay a table fee of $5 each.
9. LuLu's Yogurt (price depends on weight of frozen yogurt)
A frozen yogurt bar shop with an immense amount of toppings.

11. Learned Owl Book Store
If you are anything like me, you will spend over $20 on books. However, you will not find as charming a bookstore anywhere else in Northeast Ohio. A large selection and quaint atmosphere compels me to visit this every time I drive by the store.
12. Shannon Casey's Art Gallery
Granted, many of the paintings here do cost more than $20, but Shannon lets visitors view them for free. This industrious artist has capture priceless pieces of beauty onto canvas.
13. Classic Additions Consignment Boutique
Classic has several high name brand items for considerable prices. You could spend over $20, but you can also hover way under that price as well.
14. Two Country Chics
Pinterest-inspired home decor. Even if you can't afford some of the prices, you have a nice selection to look at.
15. Givits
A "thrift and recycle" store features items from vintage clothing to older furniture. They repurpose items and offer affordable prices for just about any item you can think of.

16. The Hudson Library - Free (unless you use the 3-D printer)
Even if you don't have a library card, the building features and art gallery, a wide selection of books and movies, and a 3-D printer.
17. Hudson Springs Park - Free
A wonderful place to walk, play disc golf, get caught in the tree maze, or gaze at the scenery.
18. Events on the Green - Free
Usually for summer, only, Hudson Green offers concerts, farmer's markets, flea markets, and sidewalk merchants.
19. Walk around Western Reserve's Campus - Free
This beautiful boarding school features several historical and picturesque buildings.
