As we start to finish up the last week of Winter break, here are some binge-worthy TV shows to start your spring semester.

1. The Office / Criminals Minds (tied for first)

If you haven't seen either of these two shows, are you really a college student? The Office is the best comedy show of all time about a group of workers well in an office who love to joke around and not really get any work done. The other being extremely serious about finding who has done the crime and of course, watching Derek sweet talk Penelope. Both such great shows that have to be tied for first place.

2. Shameless

If you're into something really weird and something you shouldn't watch with your parents around, this is the show for you! It draws you right in immediately and you can't stop watching to see what happens next.

3. Stranger Things

If you have seen the iFunny posts, Halloween costumes, or memes about Stranger Things and still haven't watched it, what are you doing with your life?? This show revitalizes what it means to be a group of meddling kids.

4. Orange Is the New Black

There isn't much to say about this other than, AMAZING! It is hilarious all around and sad at times, so be ready to get your emotions flying and pick your favorite person.

5. Riverdale

Here we have a murder mystery that shows the dark side of a small town with secrets bigger than them. Who has done it now?

6. The OA

Don't let the weird title keep you from watching this. You have to be very sober and ready to watch this, it is very confusing if you don't follow along but highly worth it.

7. Grace and Frankie

Hate your archnemesis because your husbands are together? As long as you're okay with gay and humor, this is perfect for you.

8. American Horror Story

If you're going to watch this show, watch the first one because it is by far the best. It is a little weird and creepy but overall really good!

9. Jane the Virgin

Poor poor Jane, having to live life knowing she is a pregnant virgin. What will she ever do? Who knows, only she and soon to be husband will figure something out. Will her baby daddy get in the way?

10. The Fosters

Two kids with no one in the foster care system find the family Fosters that love each child endlessly no matter what flaws they have. Watch to find out if they get adopted or not into the family of 5 already.

11. Scandal

Secretly hooking up with the President? Hiding from his wife? See how she does it in Scandal.

12. How to Get Away With Murder

Yet another murder mystery or is it just a murder? Take the class to find out how to get away with murder.

13. New Girl

A small-town girl moves into the big city with three male roommates. All slowly learning how to live with one another while still being one of the guys.

14. Fuller House

This is for the kids who grew up watching Full House and are ready to see what they all did with their lives and find out what they all do now. A must watch if you loved Full House!

15. The 100

Juvenile kids that live in space with their families get sent to Earth to slowly die but realize they aren't alone.

16. Blue Collar

A criminal becomes one with the FBI task force to help solve cases that have been closed or are reaching their endpoint.

17. Family Guy

An old show, sometimes not appropriate for a younger audience, but still a 10/10 show. It is quite hilarious and some things will get stuck in your head, forever *spider pig*.

18. American Vandal

Yes, this is the show about the kid who vandalized 27 cars in the teacher parking lot. We still don't know who has done it though but it is still good to see the first season.

19. Bobs Burgers

This a cartoon about a highly dysfunctional family, similar to Family Guy but a little weirder, a good weird. There isn't much to say about it so go watch and laugh a lot!

20. GLOW

Here you have hit the last one on the list, but also a newer show, it is perfect for feminists and those who want to see more happening in the women's rights movement. If you want to see two women who can't get anything to become something, this is for you.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
