Times are changing constantly and that is no secret for anyone. One of the things that changes frequently is how we refer to the opposite gender, or even our own gender. I have come up with a list of things that people used to be called instead of our vulgar terms that we have become accustomed to today.
Lets start with what males were called if they were not attractive:
1. "Dogface"
2. "Void Coupon"
3. "Too Safe"
4. "Stupor Man"
5. "Sad Sam"
Now if you were a male that was views as attractive you were called:
1. "Drooly"
2. "Heaven Sent"
3. "Swoony"
4. "Mellow Man"
5. "Hunk of Heartbreak"
6. "Glad Lad"
7. "Jackson"
If you were a male with sex appeal:
1. "Groovy"
2. "Twangie Boy"
3. "Go Giver"
Now onto the female side of slang terms. If you were a female who was viewed as unattractive:
1. "Sad Sack"
2. "Goon"
3. "Rusty Hen"
4. "Off the Beams"
5. "Flub"
6. "Scrag"
7. "Dog Biscuit"
8. "Strictly for the birds"
9. "Seaweed"
Females who were viewed as attractive:
1. "Slick Chick"
2. "Whistle Bait"
3. "Sharp"
4. "Rare Dish"
5. "Solid Sender"
6. "Dilly"
7. "Zazz Girl"
A female with sex appeal:
1. "Drape Shape"
2. "Frame Dame"
3. "Wolfess"
4. "Able Grable"
5. "Blackout Girl"
6. "Ready Hedy"
It is certainly safe to say that these slang terms are more family friendly than what we hear nowadays. I think if you are not attractive now, I would rather be told I was a "void coupon" instead of ugly.
