Who the hell taught you how to drive?

19 Thoughts You Have While Driving In Central Deck
Margaret Claire Johnson

Ah, Central Deck. The most hallowed yet detested parking deck on Kennesaw State University's campus. It's arguably the best located one on campus, and it's also arguably full of the worst drivers on Earth. We've all sat at the front of the deck, behind a long ass line of cars, with five minutes to find parking and get to class (impossible), waiting on some douchebag to back their giant car into a parking spot that's too small for them. We've all talked shit from the safety of our cars and thought at least one of these things.

1. Why in the HELL do people go so damn fast? This is not the Dixie Speedway.

2. Why are you driving in the middle of the road??

3. Why the f are you straddling two parking spots?

4. Why did you not straighten out your car?

5. Why are the elevators always out of order? Handicap accessible my ass.

6. Why are you driving the wrong way??

7. Why are you just sitting in your car looking like you're about to pull out of your spot and... not? I'm obviously waiting on you!!!!

8. Why are you beeping at me?

9. Why did you not pull your car all the way into the spot?

10. Why do you HAVE to backup into the parking spot with ten people waiting on you?

11. Why are you driving so SLOW?

12. Who the hell designed this shit hole?

13. Why do you have to rev your engine?

14. Why are you walking in the middle of the lane? I WILL hit you.

15. Why is your music so loud?

16. Why do they have those spots that look like spots but aren't?

17. Hit me.

18. Please don't hit me.

19. Why do I never give myself enough time to park AND get to class?

April Ludgate

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

Amidst my hectic college career, I always find time for one thing, even on the busiest weeks: Parks and Recreation. This show has made me laugh and has made me cry, but most of all I have related to this show more than I would like to admit.
