As my freshman year is coming to an end, not only am I leaving my school and dorm for the next few months, but it's hit me that I'll also be leaving the one person that has helped me stay sane this year. This time last year I was frantically searching the Michigan Class of 2020 roommate page to find someone I thought I would like to room with. Somehow a miracle happened and Suzy and I found each other and it was love at first message. ;) Little did we know that months later we would become attached at the hip and work pretty well together. I got extremely lucky with my roommate this year, and college really wouldn't be the same without her. We've reallyyyyyyyy been through it all together. The separation anxiety will definitely be real and here are somethings, like me, you will probably miss about your roommate.

1. Having someone that is always down to go out.

2. Having someone to always take out the trash.

3. Having a second closet.

4. Having someone to sing to you.

5. Always having someone to eat with, no matter what time of day.

6. Having a partner in crime in all adventures no matter how psycho.

7. Having someone to judge my outfit and tell me to change into something else.

8. Getting texts from across the room.

9. Being able to eat their leftover food.

10. Having someone to jam out to music with.

11. Watching the same show across the room and being able to talk about it.

12. Having someone to always send screenshots to who knows everything going on in the situation.

13. Having someone to Facebook stalk people with back and forth across the room.

14. Planning your weekend activities days ahead of time together.

15. Taking simultaneous naps.

16. Recounting what happened the night before while still not out of bed yet.

17. Having someone to always wake you up for parties.

18. Having someone to always call you out when you're wrong.

19. Having a teammate to go up against literally anything or anyone with.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
