19 Signs You're An Ambivert

It's a constant tug of war battle. You are energized by other people AND crave time for yourself to get away from the world. If you can't classify yourself as an introvert or extravert, you most likely can find yourself somewhere in the middle of the introversion-extraversion spectrum. This is know as ambiversion. Here's 19 signs you are an ambivert at heart:

1. You relate to both introvert and extravert traits and bounce between them frequently.

2. You're extremely indecisive.

3. You are annoyed by small talk.

4. But you love to talk about things that interest you.

5. And you're more than okay listening to other peoples' conversations without contributing.

6. You enjoy being a wallflower at parties/social gatherings...

7. ...because people watching is one of your guilty pleasures.

8. Some of the best times you have are spent alone.

9. But you also have great memories from when you were out all night with random people.

10. You like to meet new people.

11. But you feel uncomfortable without someone you know present.

12. You balance the group you are with. Like if you're out with someone louder, you're quieter and vice versa.

13. You love working with people.

14. But sometimes they drive you nuts or are just too much.

15. You are terrified of confrontation and awkward situations.

16. There are some days where you trip over ever single word you say.

17. And there are other days when you're smooth as silk in conversation.

18. You like to answer "It depends" or "Maybe" or "We'll see."

19. You see the world as an extremely gray, messy place.

The balance between the two may be difficult at times, but ambiverts ultimately get the best of both worlds!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
