Coffee. That wonderful substance that wakes us up and gives us life. If you're reading this, then you'll probably admit it freely: life would be pretty bland without coffee in it. And coffee is just so versatile, from lattes, frappuccinos, espresso, and regular hot or iced, the options are almost limitless. You could literally talk about coffee all day long. And people accuse you of being addicted to coffee, like it's a bad thing.

So here are the signs you too might be addicted to coffee:

  1. You cannot function without that first coffee of the day.
  2. You get headaches without it.
  3. People question how many cups you’ve had in a given day.
  4. “I’m going to need more coffee for this.”
  5. “Is there coffee involved?”
  6. When the coffee maker breaks: you feel betrayed.
  7. The baristas at the local coffee place know your exact order.
  8. You’re particular with how you drink your coffee.
  9. But in the end you’ll really drink it however.
  10. You are easily upset when there's no more coffee in the pot.

  12. You appreciate really good coffee.
  13. You’re always down to try new coffee places.
  14. You order one of the largest sizes coffee shops offer.
  15. If you’re over 21, you’ve probably tried an espresso martini. And it was dangerous.
  16. Death before decaf.
  17. You have too many coffee mugs.
  18. You have a large number of coffee related decorations in your home. And probably a corner just devoted to coffee.
  19. You need coffee to survive and your friends and family know it.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
