19 Signs You Love Harry Potter Too Much
The Conversation

I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I've read the series countless times and have seen the movies more than enough times. I started reading the series in fifth grade and I've been hooked ever since. Here are 19 signs to tell you when you love Harry Potter too much.

1. You refer to people who haven't read the books as Muggles.

2. You tend to try to use spells way too often.

3. You own all the books.

4. You own all the movies.

5. You also know the books are a million times better than the movies.

6. And even though you have all the movies, you still turn on Freeform and watch Harry Potter Weekend.

7. You know what house you are in based off results of many different sorting quizzes.

8. You sometimes say "If I was a wizard..." in times where magic would really help out.

I would love to be able to Apparate and Disapparate.

9. You plan to visit Harry Potter World at Universal Orlando at some point in your life.

10. And you plan to go to London to visit Platform 9¾ and all other Harry Potter related attractions there.

11. You own something Harry Potter other than the books/movies.

I'm guilty. I have Harry's wand and the Elder Wand.

12. You want to go to Hogwarts.

Do you even like Harry Potter if you don't want to go to school there?!

13. You want your own wand, Cloak of Invisibility, Time Turner, and Marauder's Map.

14. You praise J.K. Rowling and her work.

Then try to figure how one person could write a series so perfect.

15. You understand Quidditch pretty well.

16. You discover things you missed while rereading the series.

17. You have read all the spinoff books.

18. You have read the books and seen the movies like a thousand times.

As I said above, I've read the series every summer for eight years.

19. You want MORE.

You'll never be satisfied when you love Harry Potter. You just want some more magic.

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
