1. She doesn’t care about what people think of her.

Kourtney is the last person in the family to care about what anyone thinks of her. She says whatever is on her mind and goes about her business like she's the only one in the world. You go girl!

2. She loves herself.

I mean, how can she not? This girl has beauty, brains, and everything else you can think of. The fact that she has such high confidence makes me want to be her even more.

3. If she can get over a 10 year relationship, you can get over any relationship.

Update: her relationship life is just like ours now. Since Kourtney has been broken up with Scott for sometime now, she gets to feel the luxurious life of being alone and watching sad movies in bed just like the rest of us!

4. She doesn’t cry over jewelry that’s for sure.

Who could ever forget this amazing scene in one of the episodes? She is constantly making sure her sisters realize what is more important in the world.

5. She tells it how it is!

Never get on Kourtney's bad side. And don't underestimate her size! She talks the talk and I'm sure she'll fight the fight.

6. She's tiny, but feisty.

Never get on Kourtney's bad side. And don't underestimate her size! She talks the talk and I'm sure she'll fight the fight.

7. She’s a pro at blocking out the haters.

"If I do this with my glasses maybe the haters will disappear."

8. If you asked her to eat anything unhealthy she would say:

Kourtney is now gluten-free and vegan. So that means, if she were to ever go over your house you will need to have something for her to eat. And if you don't, she'd probably die.

9. If you have any relationship problems, she'll help you out.

Sometimes all we need is a friend to tell us their true feelings about our significant others.

10. She expects people to treat her like royalty.

If you're going to be with Kourtney, expect nothing but many, many commands from her. And by the way, she doesn't take no for an answer.

11. She has extra senses that many people may not know about.

One of her new talents, aside from eating Reese's and Kit Kat's, she can know get an idea of when people are starting to be "ho's."

12. She gives the best fashion advice.

Seriously, what would you do without her help? She's the queen of fashion and design! If she really doesn't like something, be prepared to get the truth.

13. Her kids take after her already.

This only means her kids will be just as cool as her and less annoying like Scott! I mean just look at Penelope's face!

14. She was the only one in her family to graduate from college.

Can't you tell?

15. She doesn’t take life so seriously.

She's all fun and games, even when someone gets hurt.

16. She’s just like us.

Don't we all love those celebrities that show us they can be 'normal people' just like us? Riding the subway is the perfect way to show your normality.

17. When Kris lectures her about how she should be nicer to her mom:

No one likes listening to their parents lecture to them, so this is a simple way to kind of avoid that.

18. When her whole family is in drama, she’s the only one that stays out of it.

Kourtney isn't about that dramatic life so she would rather sip her drink and watch from the sidelines.

19. She is still the queen without the lord!

You don't need nobody to make you the queen!

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
