19 Reasons Why Your College Friends Are Forever
Kelsey McPhee

You spend 18 years making friends in your hometown only to leave them behind for a whole new life. You grow up with the same people day after day; they were your everything. But then it was time for you all to go your separate ways. It's terrifying, to say the least until you find your new people. After that, you are completely aware of all the reasons college friends are the best friends.

1. Every waking second is spent together...even if it means group bathroom trips.

2. But when you're not together something seems missing.

3. Honesty becomes a brutality.

4. Venting sessions are a constant.

5. You always have a shoulder to cry on.

6. There's always someone around for a dance party.

7. You have seen each other at your worst.

8. But they are also always your biggest cheerleaders.

9. They're always down for a dumb decision.

10. No secrets can be kept.

11. They are always there to fight an unworthy boy off.

12. You have 9 closets instead of 1.

13. Everyone on campus knows you don't do anything without each other.

.

14. You always have someone to take endless pictures with.

15. Leaving college for a break is more heartbreaking than any break up.

16. But when you reunite, you have never been happier.

17. Graduation can never come because that means leaving each other.

18. You can't imagine life without them.

19. You find your home away from home.

To the 8 girls who changed my life with the true meaning of friendship and sisterhood, thank you.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
