Often we can end up taking our mom's for granted and not thanking them enough for all that they actually do. In celebration of Mother's Day, here is a list of just some of the things we should be thanking our moms for more often.

1. Raising you

2. (Almost) always answering your phone calls when you can’t figure out how to adult

3. Trying to teach you how to be a functioning adult regardless of how clueless you are

4. Always being there for you

5. Being your number one supporter

6. ...especially when you had questionable ideas

7. Putting up with you through the angsty teenager stage

8. Always saying I love you, even if you forget to say it back

9. Cooking you meals all those years

10. Also doing your laundry all those years

11. Actually having really good advice

12. And not being mad when you ultimately didn't take the advice and she ended up being right

13. Teaching you how to do basically everything from walking to applying for colleges

14. Sticking with you through the questionable fashion phases (we all know I mean middle school... yikes.)

15. Driving you everywhere for like 17 years

16. Doing Mother of the Year worthy things (you know which ones, mom.)

17. Always making every birthday and holiday special

18. All the cool vacations

19. Always going the extra mile when it came to parenting
