I think we can all agree that 2016 was one of the weirdest years yet. From memes, to twitter trends, to killer clowns, we've seen it all. As I continue to look back on 2016, I decided I needed to remind everyone of some of the things that happened that we were all so mesmerized by. 2016 was weird, and I can't wait to see what 2017 brings.

1. Damn Daniel

What did we like more? The cute boy with the white vans? Or the voice behind the camera?

2. Killer clowns

How could we forget? There were clown sightings all over. Some people even went out clown hunting. Hopefully we leave this in 2016.

3. Leonardo DiCaprio won an Oscar

After endless memes, tumblr posts, and tweets... Leo finally won an Oscar.

4. The election

I'll just leave it at that.

5. Ken Bone

From asking a question at one of the presidential debates, to becoming an internet sensation.

6. Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer

This isn't even possible considering the Zodiac Killer was before Ted Cruz's time, but he is the Zodiac Killer.

7. Bottle flipping

That game where people record each other flipping plastic bottles in hopes that they land straight up.

8. Harambe

That gorilla that was killed because of that baby that fell in at the zoo.

9. Steve Harvey announced the wrong Miss Universe

Maybe he should stick to Family Feud.

10. We can now put stories on Instagram

Because Snapchat just wasn't enough.

11. The Chewbacca Mom

This video can make anybody laugh.

12. Pokemon Go

That game that everyone played for about a week where they drove around to catch Pokemon.

13. A million different ways to say Bon Appetite

Bone apple tea, bone app the teeth, blonde amputee, bone beat the meat...

14. Dabbing

We've all done it.

15. Arthur's fist

So much emotion in just one image.

16. Mannequin Challenge

Where everyone does something completely still while someone walks around and records everyone with Black Beatles playing in the background.

17. The end of Vine

RIP to six second videos.

18. The 100 Layers Challenge

Where people put on 100 layers of nail polish, lipstick, foundation, clothes, and basically everything.

19. The Kermit Meme

This meme literally is all of us.

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection.
