Blink-182 has not only created their own genre of music, but have continuously shown that anyone can continue to thrive in the industry, no matter how long they've been around. Here are 18.2 reasons why Blink-182 is more than just a band.

1. Crappy punk rock

They truly took a risk when first debuting their music. With everyone still listening to alternative rock, Blink-182 was daring when they decided to go down the "punk" road for their music.

2. They're old, but still rocking

These men are easily in their late 30s, yet they're still out touring the world. That takes some serious dedication and effort.

3. They truly beat to death in Tucson

Can we just admit that The Chainsmokers did something right by mentioning Blink-182 in their tune "Closer"? Such an extraordinary song.

4. Insanely genius music videos

"All the Small Things" was such a work art. Not only did they mock every boyband in the music industry, but they did it gracefully.

5. Immaturity at its finest

Let's be real, these men don't act their age and it's ABSOLUTELY marvelous. It always brings me joy to see grown adults who are successful but still have a good time.

6. They bring different social groups together

It's always great going to shows and seeing the diverse demographic across the stadium.

7. Can change the mood at any party

Blink-182 has those songs that EVERYONE rocks out to. Once someone decides to blast "First Date" through the house, the party can only go up from there.

8. Travis Barker's drumming

Travis set the tone for drummers, creating solos that are completely insane.

9. They can bring out your inner-grunge

Because who left middle school without going through their emo-phase (which meant blasting Blink-182 from their poster-filled rooms)?

10. Their concerts

Never, and I mean NEVER, bring your child to a Blink-182 gig. (Please hire a babysitter for the night).

11. They've inspired other bands

All Time Low is an example of how their tunes have impacted others. Before creating their own music, All Time Low was nothing more than a Blink-182 cover band in Maryland.

12. Risk-takers

Honestly, this band has given it their all when it comes to thinking outside of the box. Although some of their tunes are provocative, they connect with their listeners, making them successful.

13. They make you excited for adulthood

Blink-182 has made everyone excited to turn 23.

14. Funny, yet professional

Even if they are a bit immature, they have become a prosperous and wealthy group, still climbing music charts to this day.

15. They have a soft side

It's great when bands know their fanbase. Blink is great with throwing in slow songs that relate with the crowd.

16. Don't care about public criticism

Most parents don't approve of their music because of their crude lyrics and raunchy behavior. But despite public disapproval, Blink-182 continue to keep doing what they're doing.

17. They are extremely talented

Their music may not be for everyone, but those who truly do enjoy punk rock know that these guys know how to successfully strum a guitar or two.

18.2. Tom still lives on

Sadly their lead guitarist, Tom Delonge, is no longer part of the group. But no worries, his memory still lives on with those who have loved the band from the beginning.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
