Uber has completely revolutionized the driving service game. The app provides immediate transportation and requires very little thought. Open the app, select your location, and bam, a driver is ready to take you to your destination!
With drivers in cities all across the country, as well as in Europe, Central America, South America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, you are bound to meet some interesting people and experience crazy things. Here is a compilation of the kinds of Uber drivers we know and love (or hate?):
1) The guy that offers you a mint and mini water bottle for your 5 minute drive. Yes please.
2) The driver that pretends his car is the Cash Cab and asks you trivia questions the entire ride. (For candy, not cash. Sad face.)
3) The woman that has zero sense of direction and asks you to use your own GPS.
4) The driver that offers you the aux cord. Hell, yeah!
5) The girl you accidentally spill your entire life to.
6) The guy who has a glove compartment loaded with snacks. Sketchy? Nah.
7) The driver whose car is a complete disaster.
8) The driver whose car probably didn't pass inspection because he has to turn it off every time you stop.
9) The guy who is completely silent the entire ride making you question if you're even in the right car.
10) The guy who is actually not an Uber driver but you try to get in his car anyway. My bad!
11) The driver that doesn't speak an ounce of English. No habla Espanol.
12) The driver who brings his girlfriend along for the ride.
13) The lady who will not stop talking about her eight cats at home.
14) The driver who lets you squeeze an extra person in the car. Double buckling?! That's how we do it.
15) The Uber driver who calls you before they pick you up just to ask about your day.
16) The driver who has too many air fresheners hanging on their rear view mirror.
17) The guy who probably should have his license revoked.
18) The driver that stays a few extra minutes to make sure you make it safely in the sketchy looking house he just dropped you off at.
Regardless of if your Uber driver talks too much or has a messy car, each ride is unique and an experience in itself. Shoutout to you, Uber. You've made traveling a little easier and a whole lot more fun.
