As I started binge watching Sex and the City, one giant flaw stood out to me: these women's lives would be substantially easier if they had cell phones. It got me thinking how different of a time period it must've been to not be able to reach my three best friends at the drop of a text. It was only nineteen years ago when the show premiered, yet so much has changed.
Then, I came to the realization that the majority of my favorite shows were created before laptops were even relevant. With a quick Google search, I was shocked to discover how many of the most well-known TV shows are older than I am and have withheld the test of time (despite the generational gap).
