College, man. Can't live with it, can't live without. Love it, hate it. You know the drill. In the wise words of my role model, Michael Scott, "I don't hate it. I just don't like it at all and it's terrible." I've compiled an assortment of "The Office" moments where Michael Scott could just as easily be talking about the college experience, so enjoy!

1. When you have to find reliable sources for a research paper

2. When you're working your butt off all weekend and everyone else is not

3. When your roommates are double majors with 4.0 GPAs

4. When you just got it all wrong, but you tried

5. When class is over, but that one kid keeps talking

6. When your Netflix show is just too good to go to class

7. When you didn't read for class, but you pretend you did with confidence

8. When you're trying to be healthy but there's free pizza everywhere

9.When the weekend finally comes

10. When you just don't know what's going on

11. When you say the wrong answer in class

12. When you try to start a paper, but you're stuck

13. When you go home or away for the weekend

14. When some days are just terrible

15. When every restroom is a public restroom, and you just have to embrace it

16. When you don't know what to write, so you just go for it

17. When you walk into a final

18. When starting the day gets harder and harder

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
