Ah, the holidays are quickly approaching which generally means that you get to go home for a while! Yes! Going home is always a treat that we look forward to, but why is the break so long during the holidays? Those few weeks really do drag on and tend to go a little something like this.
1. Finally! A break from school!
2. My dogs! My own bed! Free food!
3. I love home.
4. Yes. My parents are making all of my favorite meals. YES.
5. Why are my parents just awkwardly staring at me while I'm minding my own business on Facebook.
6. Oh. They want to bond.
7. Eh, I don't know what to say. We talk on the phone when I'm at school.
8. Quit commenting on how I look different. Is that good or bad?
9. Why must my mother always post a photo of me surrounded by the pets to announce that I am home?
10. Well, now everyone knows so I guess I should visit high school friends.
11. This is awkward. We don't have anything in common anymore.
12. I don't get their jokes or their stories anymore...I don't know any of their people.
13. Maybe I'll just go home and watch Netflix.
14. I haven't left the house in a few days.
15. When did I shower last?
16. There is nothing to do at home.
17. I must snapchat all of my friends now.
18. How much longer until I get to go back to school?
