Ah, college. A time of having fun, going out with friends, being independent, and most importantly, going to class. While some classes are definitely easier and better suited to us, we have all experienced that one class that makes us want to quit college altogether and be a hobo for the rest of our lives. So whether you love your classes or not, here are a few things that all college students have either done or thought about while sitting in a college class.

1. You constantly look at the clock.

Five more minutes until 30 minutes until class is over.

2. Your mind starts to wander.

This is especially true if your professor has a monotone voice.

3. You wish you were somewhere else.

I'm looking at you, Chemistry.

4. You remember you don't know anyone in your class.

At least I get to focus on what I'm learning... right?

5. You congratulate yourself when you answer questions correctly.

And you didn't even have to use Google.

6. You shame yourself when you answer questions incorrectly.

At least you tried.

7. You debate whether you'll actually use this information in real life.

I don't know how to pay my taxes, but at least I know how to make an orbital diagram!

8. You get annoyed by the person who thinks they know more than the professor.

Just stop.

9. You question why you're even at college.

I'm just here for the perks, tbh. Wait, what are the perks again?

10. You know you're failing this class but you try to stay positive.

It happens to everyone.

11. You actually pay attention and understand the information.

And you feel so good about yourself. At least until class is over.

12. Your crippling fear of failure sets in.

What if I fail this test? This class? This semester? This school year? This life??

13. You realize everything will be okay because you'll be a real adult soon.

Then nobody can boss you around or make you do stuff!

14. You then realize you don't know how to be a real adult.

Where is my mom when I need her??

15. You cry silently and hope no one sees.

Remember to bring tissues to class, y'all. It's rough out there.

16. You pretend you didn't just have an emotional breakdown.

All good, guys!

17. You plan to treat yourself when you get home.

Ice cream, movies, cookies, crying yourself to sleep, the whole shebang!

18. You remember tomorrow is another day and that you're doing the best you can.

Sometimes you just have to put aside your worries and realize that you're human. College isn't the end of the world. Better days are headed your way, my friends! And when you look back on your college years, you'll realize that your time at school was legen--wait for it--dary!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
