18 Thoughts College Students Have At The End Of The Semester

The long awaited finals week is coming up quickly –– thank god. The end of the semester brings a lot of things, such as happiness, stress and relief. Some people look forward to finals because they want to go home, while others are upset because they have a great time at school. Here are some thoughts that students have during this time:

1. OK, I have two weeks to write these four papers and study for 3 tests so I'm going to schedule it and not procrastinate

2. If I study for 30 minutes, I deserve to nap for an hour

3. OK, maybe 3 hours

4. If I write this five-page paper now, I can go to bed after

5. Or I can just watch Netflix until I fall asleep

6. OK, now I will actually write my papers

7. Why are 5 pages suddenly so difficult to do

8. Maybe if I have a snack I will be able to concentrate on my paper

9. This snack turned into a gourmet meal but it's fine

10. Oh my god, finals are in a few days. I have no time

11. I don't want to go home

12. But I want to go home so badly

13. I can't memorize all of this information – at least C's get degrees

14. How many times can I refresh Twitter and Instagram before something happens?

15. I've only had 3 cups of coffee today, definitely not enough.

16. I studied enough for that test to get at least a C

17. OK, maybe I didn't study enough

18. At least I'm going home

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
